Watch Watch Manny Pacquiao v Brandon Rios Live Streaming

Sometimes, the numbers tell only half the story. Manny Pacquiao has won 54 fights, 38 by knockout, and worn eight different world title belts. He is the only boxer to grace the cover of Time Magazine this century and his next fight – against Brandon Rios in Macau on Nov 24 – in Macau will earn him £11.2million, underlining his status as the 14th biggest earner in sport.
Yet to truly understand the power of Pacquiao, one must turn away from the balance sheets and that glittering CV and instead travel to General Santos, the sprawling, chaotic city in the southern Philippines where he first pulled on a pair of boxing gloves. This is where he now owns a gym and where, every afternoon, his adoring public will swarm, craning their necks for just the merest glimpse of their hero as he emerges from his bullet-proof black hummer. The atmosphere is exuberant, even euphoric, and this is just for a routine training session: for a fight, screenings can attract tens of thousands.
Pacquiao has come a long way since the days when, as a child, he was forced to sell doughnuts to try and supplement his family’s meagre income. And yet for all the trappings of his rarefied status - the swarm of minders, helpers and assistants, the eye-watering sponsorship deals with Nike, Hewlett-Packard and many others, the front-page features in the Filipino gossip magazines – this is a man who has steadfastly refused to lose touch with his public, who adore him unreservedly.
Pacquiao is all too aware of his status. On the day we meet, he is working out in a yellow T-Shirt emblazoned with the motif ‘The Champ Knows’ – a slogan which seems more suited to the political arena than the boxing ring.
“I will tell you what it means – it means, I know the feeling,” he says, in a break during his sparring sessions. “I know what is in the heart of the people who need help, and I am happy serving people because I believe that when you have experienced being poor you cannot turn your back on people when people are needing your help.

Currently, St-Pierre is angry with Anderson Silva at 11 championship bender victories.

Watch UFC 167 Live Stream - Tim Burke: The jab. I think GSP will back Hendricks off with the jab and never let him get inside close enough to throw his version of the H-bomb. GSP is also the better MMA wrestler in my eyes and once Hendricks tires, he should be able to control the fight. I honestly don't expect this to be all that competitive. GSP by decision.

Anton Tabuena: GSP has been rocked on his past few fights, and the thing that makes it interesting here is that if it happens this time, GSP likely won't have his wrestling to fall back on. How will GSP deal with getting hit if he can't take Hendricks down? How will GSP react if this NCAA champ can actually take him down? Those factors make this the most intriguing GSP bout in recent memory, but I still expect him to win with flying colors. He's by far the much more technical striker, and I think he will be able to take this easily. Georges St. Pierre by Decision.

Thanks to Emmanuel Emenike's brace in the first leg, Nigeria are 90 minutes away from a trip to Brazil.

Nigeria just need to finish what they started with a 2-1 first leg victory to book their place in next summer's World Cup. The Super Eagles welcome Ethiopia to the Abuja Stadium holding a one goal lead thanks to Emmanuel Emenike's brace back in mid-October.

Ethopia had taken the lead in the first leg thanks to Behailu Assefa but Fenerbahce forward Emenike's two goals in the final 25 minutes, including a last minute penalty, put the Super Eagles in front going into Saturday's second leg.

Kenneth Omeruo, Reuben Gabriel and Bright Dike have all been called in for Nigeria but Nosa Igiebor and Uche Nwofor will both miss out due to injuries. Ethiopia will get a boost with the return of their star forward Getaneh Kebede. The 21-year-old missed the first leg with a knee injury and has scored four goals in qualifying so far.

Watch Nonito Donaire Jr. vs Vic Darchinyan Live Streaming

MANILA, Philippines - Nonito Donaire Jr. has guaranteed a knockout in his long-awaited rematch with Vic Darchinyan tomorrow at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas.

The former world champion from the Philippines was too specific in his prediction.

“That’s one thing this fight will be (a knockout),” said Donaire, fighting for the first time since losing his WBO and WBA super-bantamweight titles to Guillermo Rigondeaux last April.

Donaire said he will go for the knockout or get knocked out trying.

“He (Darchinyan) is going to look for a knockout and I’m going to look for a knockout. I don’t think it is going to last the 10 rounds,” said Donaire in a recent conference call.

It’s the first time Donaire is fighting as a featherweight but said he feels comfortable with the weight.

When they first met on Aug. 7, 2007 (07/07/07) in Bridgeport, Connecticut, Donaire scored a sensational knockout against the cocky fighter from Armenia.

The knockout came at the 1:38 mark of the fifth round when Donaire caught Darchinyan with a left hook to the jaw. He couldn’t have landed that shot any better.

Darchinyan didn’t know what hit him, and in the same conference call he said he made a mistake by trying to “jump up right away” after being knocked down.

“It was the only knockdown in my life – amateur or professional – never been knocked down. I jumped up right away,” said the 37-year-old Darchinyan.

“If I take a couple of seconds on the floor to recover, maybe it would be a different outcome, you know? I had no experience with a knockdown. Now it is good – I have experience with it,” he said.

With that one punch, Donaire became the IBF flyweight champion and went on to win world titles in the super-flyweight, bantamweight and super-bantamweight crowns.

It was named by Ring Magazine as the Knockout of the Year and the Upset of the Year.

Before losing to Rigondeaux, the hard-hitting Filipino won 30 consecutive fights in nearly 12 years. He is now 31-2-0 with 20 knockouts.

Darchinyan recovered from that stunning loss against Donaire and became the WBC, WBA and IBF super-flyweight champion but has failed as a bantamweight. He has lost two of his last four fights.

Darchinyan said he waited six years for this rematch with Donaire. And at his age, he vowed to be at his best.

“Thirty-seven years old? I don’t even feel that, I feel like I am 25. I am not getting tired. It’s about how you prepare yourself,” said Darchinyan.

It remains to be seen.
